In a few shorts weeks Nick will (hopefully) get down on one knee and pop the big question. After enjoying yet another season of Nick, the fourth season to be exact, on the bachelor franchise I think we’re all hoping it sticks this time. Nick’s dad said it best, “we don’t want to see you on this show again.” Neither do we Nick’s dad, neither do we.
So, after coming up short twice. I’m sure we all remember Andi Dorfman’s and Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette… and Nick so close to finding the one of this past season of Bachelor in Paradise. The poor guy has been through a lot since we first met him in 2014 and we can all join Neil Lane in hoping that this is the last time Nick will be picking out a ring.
Given Nick’s long journey to find love, we thought we could all use a refresher on how Nick got here.
Andi Dorfman
When Nick arrived at the Bachelor Mansion the first time he emerged from the limo and was greeted by Andi Dorfman. They had instant chemistry, went
on some incredible dates, and ultimately found love for each other. None of which we remember as all of that was over shadowed when Andi chose to spend “forever” with Josh Murray on the season finale. If that’s not bad enough, Nick made the very gutsy move to call out Andi on “After The Final Rose” for making love to him in the fantasy suite. We certainly haven’t forgotten about that and neither has Dorfman who went into details about the fantasy suite in her tell all book “It’s Not Okay”.
Kaitlyn Bristowe
But Nick hadn’t had enough yet. On Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette Nick coincidentally happened to show up to the same comedy club that Kaitlyn had taken the guys to on a group date. When Nick and Kaitlyn were “introduced” it was obvious that they had some history. Kaitlyn came clean admitting that she has been talking to Nick on social media before the show started shooting and that she wanted to explore where the relationship would go. Again, they had instant chemistry and had it not been for a leaked snapchat from Bristowe (oof) we really would have thought these two would have ended up together. But today Kaitlyn and fiancé Shawn B are living their happily ever after in Nashville with their dog Tucker and Nick is left to continue on his journey to find love.
Jen Saviano
We really aren’t sure what to take from Nick’s most recent appearance on Bachelor in Paradise. He certainly took a liking to Jen Saviano and we were led to believe that it might lead to something serious as (just like the two times before) Nick did meet with Neil Lane to pick out a ring, but as we know, Nick left alone, with the opportunity to date 25 women a few months later. The biggest thing to come out of Nick’s trip to paradise was that Josh Murray is not a fan at all and Nick got his chance to show that he is a good guy after all.
All of that being said, we are hopeful this ends well for Nick as he truly does deserve to find true love after his long journey. Don’t know about you, but we cannot wait to see who he proposes to on March 13th!
